Christiana Daaboul is a Lebanese-Australian baker and self-made creative based in Sydney. Through Ard, she makes plant-based cakes, buns and baked goods rooted in cultural memory and a deep love of feeding people.
Her baking began with her mother, Mama Marie - whose love language has always been food, and whose recipes carry the weight of a big Lebanese family table, a heritage kept alive through cooking. What started in a garage and grew through markets has since become one of Sydney's most talked-about neighbourhood spots, where every bake carries a point of view and food is always in service of something more.
Christiana and Ard have been featured in Broadsheet, Sydney Morning Herald and Urban List. In 2024, Christiana was selected to compete on Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars Australia, a national search for Australia's most promising food entrepreneurs.
